RHS MALVERN SPRING FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES BLOSSOMING PARTNERSHIP WITH COPELLA

RHS Malvern Spring Festival is delighted to have formed a new partnership with Copella. The fruit juice company is joining the festival as a major supporter of the famous Food & Drink Pavilion. The Pavilion, which is dedicated to celebrating British food and drink, is the perfect place for Copella, who were founded in rural Suffolk.

Copella has commissioned RHS Young Designer of the Year 2016, Caitlin McLoughlin to create the immersive Copella garden in the Food and Drink Pavilion, the garden draws inspiration from the rolling meadows and bountiful orchards of our British countryside.

Head of RHS Malvern Spring Festival, Jane Furze said: “We are so pleased to be able to welcome Copella as a supporter of RHS Malvern Spring Festival. There is such a natural synergy between us regarding our mutual support in the progression of horticulture and the preservation of natural habitats and wildlife. Copella’s connection with the Bumble Bee Conservation Trust is inspiring and something that we’re keen to promote, we can’t wait to see the garden take shape.”

Annabelle Riches from Copella said: “We’re really excited to be a part of such a fantastic event. RHS Malvern Spring Festival blends the very best of food and horticulture and is a perfect fit for us and a great place to launch our brand new flavour, Apple and Lavender. We’re also thrilled that we have such a talented young designer creating our feature garden.”

Designer, Caitlin took her first steps into the world of show gardens two years ago at RHS Malvern Spring Festival. She created a Festival Garden that was dedicated to raising awareness of wild plants that are related to food. She was awarded a Silver Gilt, which is an amazing achievement for a first time garden, especially as she was working as a plant data specialist at London’s Natural History Museum at the time. Caitlin was well and truly bitten by the design bug and was awarded the coveted accolade of Young Designer the following year by the RHS. Her creation for Copella, offers festival goers a picnic atmosphere. The garden will draw on the inspiring landscaping of UK orchards and meadows. Surrounded by hay bales, scattered seating and apple barrels, this is the perfect spot to taste sample the Copella range and get a first taste of their brand new Apple and Lavender. With a combination of raised beds filled with native wildflowers, naturalistic ornamental planting, apple trees and grass, the Copella garden is set to be another inspiring design from Caitlin that visitors will not want to miss.

RHS Malvern Spring Festival 2017 will take place from Thursday 11 May until Sunday 14 May. Tickets are now on sale. For more information and to book tickets, please call 01684 584924 or visit www.rhsmalvern.co.uk
