Winter Glow, the Midlands’ largest seasonal attraction, is happening once again at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern. After last year’s six-year agreement, Winter Glow will return to Worcestershire this November 2023 with an exciting new mix of festive fun!
What’s new at Winter Glow this 2023?
Following last year’s success, Winter Glow is back with both old and new fun family activities! Endless festivities await including (but not limited to!):
- The iconic Illuminated Light Trail – this unique, interactive adventure trail is guaranteed to bring an element of unique festive fun to Malvern this winter.
- Winter Glow’s popular Santa experience will be returning for 2023 into an indoor location within the Showground.
- The Malvern region’s largest indoor Ice Rink will make a triumphant return to welcome skaters young and old!
Winter Glow’s Christmas market and other festive activities for 2023
Step into the winter wonderland where the air buzzes with festive cheer. Winter Glow’s enchanting Christmas market, a beacon of holiday spirit, invites you back to explore a myriad of wonders.
This year, you get to wander through a tapestry of stalls full of handcrafted local gems, waiting to be discovered under a canopy of twinkling lights. Delight in the aroma of spiced treats and mulled wine, weaving through the laughter and music that fill the air.
And for the thrill-seekers and dreamers, the Christmas Fairground can transform your day into a realm of joy, offering rides that captivate hearts across all generations.
Last, but not least – indulge yourself in the culinary heart of Winter Glow – the Food and Drink Quarter. You can savour the rich, authentic flavours of hand-selected tipples, perfect for toasting to the joy of the season.
As the frosty air nips at your cheeks, find solace in the embrace of a steamy hot chocolate. As you meander through, the blend of traditional and contemporary flavours will lead your taste buds on a captivating journey.
Three Counties Showground CEO, Ken Nottage, commented: “Winter Glow is now a much-loved festive event at Three Counties Showground and the new agreement will ensure that it has a permanent home here for the next 6 years, as it grows and develops its annual Christmas event in Malvern.”

Winter Glow 2023 Information and Logistics
The event will run from 24th November through to 6th January.
Each element of Winter Glow is available to book separately, allowing visitors to tailor their experience to create a unique day out. The Indoor Winter Market is free of charge to enter and does not require pre-booking. The fairground also doesn’t require booking, although the rides cost tokens which you can buy on Winter Glow’s website, in the ticket section.
