This year’s show takes its inspiration from Malvern’s Victorian spa town heritage. In its heyday, Malvern was a fashionable health resort for day-trippers who came to take in the clean air and reviving waters amidst the beauty of the Malvern Hills.
As a celebration of the period, we’ve introduced a new Spa Gardens show category. Up and coming designers will re-imagine the spa resort experience for the 21st Century visitor, so you can expect a good measure of tranquility and refreshment.
The Moscow Flower Show exchange programme has seen one overseas designer given the opportunity to design a Spa Garden at RHS Malvern. In return one lucky British designer will also have the chance to showcase their garden at the Moscow Flower Show as part of a new exchange programme.
Many designers who take their first steps at Malvern go on to become some of the UKs very best garden designers. Chris Beardshaw, Paul Hervey-Brookes and Diarmuid Gavin all showcased their garden design skills first at Malvern before going on to have successful careers.
