Avon Hall is home to works of art, all created from flowers and foliage. The theme for 2017 is Feast of Flowers and with approximately 150 exhibits that fill the hall with colour and fragrance, it is a delight for the senses. Find Avon Hall on Row 2.

The class categories have been chosen to encourage creativity and the deliciously entitled classes include Picnic in the Park, Food, Glorious Food, Lemon Sorbet, Garden Party, Pimms O’Clock, Turkish Delight, Five a Day!, Kitchen Larder, Beach Barbeque, Celebrity Chef, Sunny Side Up, Ice and a Slice and Confectionery. Ice Cream flavours are evident in the children’s classes for Glorious Gelato and the Floristry class is a hand-tied bouquet entitled Bouquet Garni. The Novice Class, Edible Garden, has the aim to encourage and nurture new talent to the competitions.

Inspired visitors can learn to make simple floral arrangements under the expert tutorship of Nick Grounds on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th May. Nick is an entertaining speaker and wonderfully skillful with flowers.
