FAQS FOR RHS MALVERN SPRING FESTIVAL
WHY IS RHS MALVERN SPRING FESTIVAL 2021 RUNNING AS A MORNING OR AFTERNOON SESSION OVER 4 OF THE 5 DAYS?
To comply with current Government guidelines we are planning on significantly reduced visitor numbers. In order to be able to do this we have moved to 5 days and split each day into a morning or afternoon session. Each session allows for up to 5 hours on site. On Sunday we are offering a whole day ticket only as this day is shorter. By doing this we will create a great deal more outdoor space than usual for visitors to relax and enjoy the fabulous show gardens, specialist plant nurseries and lots of home and garden retail therapy. Without making these important changes, this event would not be able to take place. We know how much you enjoy being at Malvern and we do understand these changes are not ideal but hope you will continue to support us through these very challenging times. Because of limited visitor numbers we would recommend you purchase your tickets in advance.
HOW MANY VISITORS WILL YOU HAVE EACH DAY?
We appreciate that during these challenging times you want to be assured that you will be able to social distance and at the same time enjoy your time at the showground. To ensure you can do this we have made the decision to reduce visitor numbers for each session to just 25% of our normal capacity for this event. This is a substantial reduction but we have only been able to do this by making a small increase in the ticket price? increasing the ticket price. We appreciate this isn’t ideal but it does ensure the event can take place with the same level of safety for all, that visitors have come to expect.
WHAT ARE THE PARKING ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE MORNING AND AFTERNOON SESSIONS?
Parking will be open throughout each day. Please note there will be separate Gold Parking and Members Forward Parking areas for both the morning and afternoon sessions. Blue Badge parking is available as well for both the morning and afternoon sessions.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I I PURCHASE A MORNING AND AFTERNOON SESSION TICKETS SO I CAN STAY ALL DAY?
In order to ensure the site is cleaned between sessions the site will cleared and closed between 1:00pm & 2:00pm. If you have booked both a morning and afternoon ticket then you will be required to go leave the showground and return to your vehicle during the change over.
AS WE ARE RECEIVING E-TICKETS WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU HAVEN'T GOT A PRINTER?
We would prefer for e-tickets to be printed out but we do understand that this isn't always possible so would ask you bring your phone or tablet device and have the bar code of your e-ticket on screen so it can be checked.
WILL THE USUAL INDOOR FOOD AND DRINK AREAS STILL BE IN PLACE?
To comply with current Government guidelines we are moving all food and drink offerings to alfresco eateries and not within enclosed areas. This provides good ventilation and ensures social distancing can take place.
IF I AM A THREE COUNTIES MEMBER THEN DO I NEED TO PURCHASE A TICKET?
Three Counties Members will be contacted directly by Three Counties Agricultural Society regarding tickets for 2021. As we need to ensure track and trace is in place we will be asking members to confirm their preferred day and session by booking tickets.
IF RESTRICTIONS ARE LIFTED IN 2021 THEN HAVE YOU ANY PLANS ON OFFERING ALL DAY TICKETS?
We would like to be able to convert all morning and afternoon tickets to full day tickets if Government restrictions are lifted and it is safe to do so. At this time it is impossible to predict whether we will be in a position to do this but our intention is always to give visitors the best experience possible.
CAN I BRING MY DOG TO THE THREE COUNTIES SHOWGROUND?
Unfortunately we can only allow assistance and participating dogs on the Showground and car parks during Three Counties Agricultural Society events. These include CountryTastic, RHS Malvern Spring Festival, Royal Three Counties Show, and Malvern Autumn Show.
Please don’t leave dogs unattended in vehicles. For all other third party events, please contact the organisers directly to find out about their dog policy.
WHEN CAN I BUY TICKETS?
You can buy your tickets for each show in advance online or by calling 0344 338 5400 (calls are charged at normal landline rates or as part of your mobile phone plan). We encourage guests to book in advance.
I WOULD LIKE TO FIND ACCOMMODATION CLOSE TO THE SHOWGROUND, CAN YOU GIVE ME INFORMATION ON WHERE TO STAY?

I ATTEND SEVERAL OF THE SHOWS EACH YEAR AND WONDER IF THERE IS A DISCOUNT TICKET AVAILABLE?
For regular visitors to Three Counties’ events, Membership offers excellent value for money against ticket prices with added benefits.
CAN I BRING A MOBILITY SCOOTER TO THE SHOWS?
Mobility scooters are allowed on site provided that they’re driven safely, at low speeds, and the Three Counties’ safety rules are followed.
If your scooter has low ground clearance, a narrow wheel base, or is three-wheeled, we strongly advise you not to use it on the site. The ground conditions are unsuitable for scooters.
At RHS Malvern Spring Festival you can hire a suitable mobility scooter from Event Mobility.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Wear appropriate clothing for the weather as the show is mostly outdoors.
CAN I BRING A PICNIC?
Yes you can, there are also lots of places at the show for you to buy food and drink.
CAN I DROP MY CHILDREN OFF AT THE SHOWGROUND AND PICK THEM UP LATER?
No under 12s will be allowed entry onto the Three Counties Showground or into any show unless accompanied by a parent, responsible adult or carer.
